縮頭五(不管是M接環或是L39接環)的前鏡片滿是傷痕，應該是很常見的。除此之外，內鏡片也時常會有起霧的現象，輕者可以透過一般擦拭去除或減輕，重者鍍膜/鏡片變質需要拋光處理。
這支送來處理的縮頭五的前鏡片就是有滿滿的刮痕，內部鏡片也有些微起霧。
內鏡片的起霧透過清潔擦拭去除，而前鏡片的傷痕，就必須透過拋光處理，使它恢復乾淨通透。
下面提供四張測試照供參考，分別是拋光前、後，可以明顯看出其中的差異。
適當的拋光，並不會減損鏡頭應有的表現，更可讓鏡頭重生！

It is easy to see a bad condition of the front glass of Leitz Summicron 5cm f/2.0 collapsible, and hazy internally. This case demonstrates the benefit from the polish treatment to its front glass.
As you can see in the attached photos, the front glass of this lens has serious scratches. Beside that, it also has slight internal fog.
It is so lucky that the internal fog was removed by general cleaning and wiping. To the front glass, the polish treatment is the only way to make it clean and clear again.
