The rear lens group of this Leica Summilux 50mm f/1.4 v.2 E43 got a problem in elements separation/balsam separation. This doublet was embedded in the metal frame and needs special equipments to take it out for re-cementing treatment.

The problem of elements separation/balsam separation can be totally restored by following the standard re-cementing procedure, taking apart the two elements --> cleaning thoroughly --> re-cementing precisely --> blackening the lens edge. The last image shows the problem has been perfectly solved!
