The optical structure of the Leica Summicron-M 50mm f/2.0 is composed by 6-element in 4-group. The 2nd and 3rd groups are cemented lens group. These two lens group of the lens in this case had hazy elements separation. The problem can be fully restored by following the re-cementing treatment, so does the the image quality now has been brought back to original performance.
