This Leica M28/2.8 v.1 (9-element) had a separation issue on its rear internal cemented lens group that needs a re-cementing treatment.
After taking out the target lens group, and following the standard treatment procedure, the problem can be resolved smoothly and perfectly.
The procedure including: taking apart the lens elements, cleaning, re-cementing with precise collimation and re-blackening the lens' sidewall.
